Who we are
Sant Ram Mangat Ram Jain Jewellers, Chandigarh, trading as House of Sant Ram’s. Our lab-grown jewellery is sold under the name Jazaa, by Jazaa Private Limited. This page covers both.
What we keep
- Your name and mobile number, when you give them to us at the counter or on WhatsApp.
- What you bought: the invoice, the piece, its price and its hallmark, which the law asks us to keep.
- Your identity document for a purchase above the limit the law sets. The number is kept sealed — encrypted — on our records, shown to nobody in full, and printed only on that invoice as the law asks. A PAN is checked once against the income-tax records through Surepass, which hold the name on the card; nothing else is sent.
- What you asked us about: a design of your own, a repair, a valuation, a piece set aside for you.
- Your Gold Vault installments and your royalty card, if you hold either.
- Your people, when you tell us a family member or refer a friend, so we can serve them as yours.
Messages sent to the house’s number, +91 98784 44177, are read by the house and by the software that runs it. We write to you there only about your own orders, invoices, appointments and the one-time codes that authorise a payout from your Gold Vault, and about our collections only when you have said yes. Reply stop and we stop.
Who sees it
Our own team, each person only what their work needs. We do not sell or share your details with anyone outside the house, except the bank for a payment, the courier for a delivery, and the authorities when the law requires.
How long
Invoices and the identity record behind them for as long as the tax law requires. Everything else for as long as you are a client of the house. A number is retired on your word, never passed on.
Your word
Ask us at the counter or on the house’s number to see what we hold, to correct it, or to have your number retired. We answer within a week.
